Q3: Is Nikon D3100 a professional camera? Ans: This camera can be used for professional photography. The D3100 turns in a pretty good performance, with 100, 200, and 400 ISO performing exemplary. The 400 shows just the least hint of some graininess creeping in, but the overall image of the Nikon D3100 is quite good.

The D3300 is also very quiet and refined, which is a huge bonus compared to Nikon's pro cameras when shooting candidly.
